Impersonate Another User

Overview

The Impersonation Mode feature allows Administrators to temporarily take control of a user's account to access the system from that user's point of view, including roles, permissions and forms. Administrators can use this function to test user permission levels or complete a task for a user. An Administrator can impersonate other Administrators, but they cannot perform administrative tasks while doing so.

The User Audit Trial records all changes within the system, including when an Administrator is using the Impersonate Mode feature.

If IP authorization control is enabled on your org, your IP address will be validated against the IP allow list when activating and disabling Impersonation Mode. You will be logged out If your IP address cannot be validated.

User Account Requirements

The user account you use to log into Resolver must have Administrator permission to Impersonate a User Profile.
