Resetting a Building for a New Valuation

Overview

Resetting a completed Building Valuation will move the Building Valuation back to the Ready For Valuation state, allowing Users to re-submit the Building for Valuation or Expert Valuation. Resetting a Building Valuation does not delete any prior Valuation history from the Building.

Navigation

  1. From the Home screen, click the Home Menu and select Valuations from the dropdown menu.

  1. From the Get Valuations screen, click a Building Name link on the Automated Valuation Complete section.

Resetting a Building Valuation

Only Completed Building Valuations can be Reset.

  1. From the Details tab, click Automated Valuation Complete.

  1. Select the Reset For New Valuation link from the dropdown menu.

  1. The screen will refresh, loading the Get Valuation screen. A system notification will appear at the top of the screen indicating that the Transition was successful, moving the Building Valuation back to Ready for Valuation

  1. The Building Valuation will no longer appear in the Automated Valuation Complete section. Instead, it is now accessible from the Modify Details section.

Alternative Method

  1. From the Details tab, scroll to the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the Reset for New Valuation button.
